Access Hearing is an independently owned and operated audiology practice in Sydney's inner west.

Our clinics in Concord and Ashfield are fully equipped to meet the needs of adult patients requiring hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and all related hearing care services.

At Access Hearing we don't just sell hearing aids, we work with you as part of a team of health care professionals including your GP and/or medical specialist to assess and manage your hearing problems.

Our Services

Free Hearing Checks

As a community service we provide a no-obligation, free hearing check for seniors and veterans. No refferal needed.

Hearing Health Consultations

The consulting service assists with identifying problems and solutions or providing a second opinion

on hearing rehabilitation services. It is our intention to provide the best advice possible regarding your hearing needs.

Hearing Tests

Hearing screening establishes if a hearing problem is present. More involved hearing tests including tympanometry, pure

tone and speech audiometry are aimed at supporting medical diagnosis. There are no referral requirements for a hearing test however we welcome all referred patients.

Hearing Aid Services

We provide and fit only quality hearing aids from market leading manufacturers. A thirty day,

money back trial is included. Hearing aid repairs and maintenance are provided including earmold replacement. Minor repairs may be carried out on the spot. A VIP service can also be arranged to speed up turn around times.

Government Programs

We are a Hearing Services accredited service provider and can provide government funded services for pensioners and veterans.

Cochlear Implants

Through our partnership with Hearing Implants Australia we are provide a comprehensive range of

services from CI candidacy assessments to processor upgrades and ongoing support.

Hearing Protection

Ear plugs for musicians, swimmers and those working in a noisy environment are custom made for maximum comfort and protection.

Assistive Devices

A range of assistive devices are available to help with problems such as watching TV, using land-line or mobile

phones and hearing alarms or alerts. Often these will provide a significant improvement in listening enjoyment and ability without the need for hearing aids.

Dean Foley

Access Hearing is owned and operated by audiologist Dean Foley. He holds a Masters Degree in in Clinical Audiology from Macquarie University and is a full member of the Audiological Society of Australia.

Dean is also a hearing aid wearer and so understands exactly what it is like to live with a hearing problem. He is passionate about providing the highest level of care he can to his patients so that they may achieve the best outcomes possible.
